ESCANABA — Samantha Gaudino, formerly Samantha Born, of Escanaba, recently graduated from Bay de Noc Community College. Gaudino graduated with an associates in English and will continue her studies at Ferris State University in January. Her passion for English was fostered by her grandparents, Lettie and Walter Houghton.

Gaudino is a first generation college student, and she and her husband, Gabriel Gaudino attended Bay together. Guadino is also the mother of a two-year-old son, Shepard.
