Wells Lions Club raffle winner named

ESCANABA — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52-week raffle for the week of Dec. 21 is Meghan Casey of Escanaba, who won $100. This was week 21 of the raffle.

Holiday wrapping charity fundraiser ongoing

ESCANABA — Circle M Country is offering gift wrapping for the community now through Dec. 24 to benefit St. Vincent De Paul and the Salvation Army. Anyone may bring their gifts to be wrapped at the store for a small donation. All money collected above the cost of wrapping will be split between the two charities.

Wrapping hours are Monday through Friday, from noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday, from a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m.
