Raffle winner named

WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club raffle for Aug. 10 is Travis Smith of Escanaba, who won $100. This was week two of the raffle.

Croatian chicken dinner Sunday in Gladstone

GLADSTONE — Sons of the American Legion Squadron 71 is hosting a Croatian chicken dinner Sunday, Aug. 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. The dinner will be held at the American Legion, located at 802 Delta Ave., Gladstone.

The Legion asks you call ahead and reserve your dinner, as there is a limited amount of chickens available. You may take out the dinners or eat in at the hall. To reserve a dinner, call 428-1050.
