Remember When?

Photo courtesy of the Delta County Historical Society Fishing is a part of life in the Upper Peninsula. At left, a determined fisherman braves the raging waters to pursue his prey. Trout have long been found in the rushing streams of the Rapid River, Tacoosh River and the west branch of the Whitefish River. They hang out in the alternating pools or at the base of the riffles. Traditional fly fishing or spin casting can both produce delicious results.
