Lippens graduates from St. Norbert College

DE PERE, Wis. — Sarah Lippens, of Bark River, will graduate from St. Norbert College, Cum Laude, with a Bachelors of Business Administration. However, the graduation ceremony will take place later than expected.

Due to COVID-19, St. Norbert College postponed its 2020 commencement ceremony, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 17. St. Norbert is committed to recognizing the Class of 2020, and plans are in the works to hold a ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 29, if possible. There are 484 students in the 2020 graduating class, including 454 candidates for baccalaureate degrees and 30 candidates for master’s degrees.

The only Norbertine college in the world, St. Norbert is a four-year, Catholic liberal arts institution, devoted to the Norbertine traditions of community, education and service to others. Founded in 1898 as a school to prepare men for the priesthood, St. Norbert College became coeducational in 1952. Today the residential campus serves approximately 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students, hailing from throughout the United States and nearly 30 countries.
