Chamber and Chocolate concert event tonight
ESCANABA — Chamber and Chocolate, a dessert concert presented by the Spotlights Organization, will be held on Thursday, March 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 819 1st Ave. South, Escanaba.
The program will feature the instrumental state solo and ensemble students from Escanaba Area High School. A donation will be taken at the door.
Those who were already intending to attend the concert are asked to note the time change, which was made to accommodate students who are involved in the Players de Noc musical.
Eagles breakfast Sunday
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles 1088 will serve breakfast Sunday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Eagles Hall, located at 608 Ludington Street in Escanaba.
The public is welcome to attend. There is a fee to attend the breakfast. For more information, call the Escanaba Eagles Club at 786-3451.
Spaghetti fundraiser
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone American Legion Riders is holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser, on Saturday, March 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gladstone American Legion, located at 802 Delta Ave. Call 906-428-1050 for more information.
The Conversation Project
ESCANABA — The Conversation Project, a series of classes aiming to tackle end-of-life conversations, will hold its first class Thursday, March 19 at 6 p.m. at St. Thomas Church, 1820 9th Avenue North, Escanaba.
The free event — which is brought through a partnership between UP Health System Home Care and Hospice, UP Health Systems Doctors Park and Katie Clark, Upper Michigan Law — is offered to the community by reservation only. Space is limited and a light meal and refreshments will be provided.

Healing prayer service
ESCANABA — Fr. Ryan Ford will be leading a healing service for those in need of a physical, emotional, relational or spiritual healing at St. Joseph and St. Patrick Parish, 709 1St Ave South, Escanaba. The service is not a mass, and will be held Thursday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Senior citizens craft and bake sale March 28
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Senior Citizens Nonprofit Corporation, along with the Gladstone Senior Center will hold a spring craft sale on Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the center, located at 303 N. 8th St., Gladstone. There will also be a bake sale, concessions, and door prizes.
Crafters may reserve a table by calling Lisa at 428-2201 or Marilyn at 420-5041. There is an admission fee at the door. Proceeds go to funding the corporation and the MDS-CAA Gladstone Senior Center.
Taco Tuesday returns
GLADSTONE — Taco Tuesday is back at the Gladstone American Legion Post 71. Serving is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome. The events are held at Gladstone American Legion Auxiliary Unit 71, 802 Delta Ave., in Gladstone.
Third Sunday breakfasts
ROCK — The Rock Lions Third Sunday All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast will take place on the third Sundays of March, June, September, and December from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rock Lions Club, located on M-35 in Rock. There is a cost for the breakfast, but children under 5 eat free.

Free line dancing class
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Senior Center offers free line dancing classes each Friday morning. Beginners meet at 9 a.m., and the regular class is held from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
