ESCANABA — Thanks to the EHS Student Council, puppies were plentiful in the puppy therapy room for EHS students taking exams. Special guest, Physics, came to visit EHS students as well, and wish them good luck on their exams. Physics is a therapy dog at Lemmer Elementary School.

Colleges and universities across the nation bring pets in school to de-stress students taking exams. In addition to being good for the dogs, research has shown that petting an animal reduces a human’s heart rate and their body releases endorphins, the feel-good hormone.
