Winter photography lecture tonight in Esky
ESCANABA — The East Ludington Gallery Lecture Series kicks off 2020 with a lecture by Michael Hall called “Winter Photography” Thursday, Jan. 16 from 7 to 8 p.m. The gallery is located at 1007 Ludington St., in Escanaba.
The lecture is free to the public.
Spaghetti dinner at Gladstone Legion
GLADSTONE — The Gladstone American Legion Riders is holding a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 18 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Gladstone American Legion, 802 Delta Ave. Call 906-428-1050, for more information.
Dress sale Saturday
BARK RIVER — The Bark River-Harris Leo Club will be holding a dress sale this Saturday, January 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bark River-Harris school cafeteria. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Leo projects throughout the community.
Dresses for sale can be dropped off at the back of the school Friday, Jan. 17 from 4-6 p.m. EST or Saturday before 10 a.m. EST. Unsold dresses must be picked up by 6 p.m. EST on the 18th or they will be donated to Bay Cliff Health Camp.

ESCANABA — Escanaba Schools Title VI Indian Education Parent Committee’s next meeting is set for 5:15 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 20. It will be held in the second-floor teacher lounge at the Upper Elementary, 1500 Ludington St.

Women’s March in Marquette Saturday
MARQUETTE — Women’s March 2020 will take place in Marquette Saturday, Jan. 18.
Demonstrators are asked to gather at the Marquette Commons at noon. The march and rally will follow at 1 p.m. and will end at the Marquette Commons.
The “Rise UP Post Reception” will follow from 2 to 5 p.m. at Ore Dock Brewing Company.

Sing Off event returns
NAHMA — The fourth annual Sing Off will be held at the Nahma General Store on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. The singer registration fee is payable by 6:30 p.m. that evening.

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone High School Class of 1970 is holding a 50th class reunion meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. at the Gladstone Yacht Club. All classmates are encouraged to attend to help plan this milestone reunion.

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eagles 1088 will serve breakfast Sunday, Jan. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eagles Hall, located at 608 Ludington Street in Escanaba. The public is welcome to attend.
