Bark River Lions donate prizes

Courtesy photos The Bark River Lions Club recently donated the unclaimed 50/50 raffle prize from Saturday at the Bark River International Raceway Off-Road Races in August to the U.P. Honor Flight and the Lions Club International Foundation. The unclaimed prize was approximately $4,400. The Bark River Lions donated an additional $600, to make a total of $5,000. In the photos at left, accepting the donation for the U.P. Honor Flight is Scott Knauf and accepting the donation for the Lions Club International Foundation is Lion Past District Governor Jerry Stephens and Lion Past International Director Jennifer Ware. Representing the Bark River Lions are Lion District Governor Bruce LaBelle, Lion Past District Governor Tom Lanaville and Bark River International Raceway Treasurer Scott Kwarciany.
