Learning Center students get haircuts

Courtesy photo Britt Stephens from Salon West in Escanaba recently offered his time and talents to help give haircuts to students at the Escanaba Learning Center. Stephens cut hair for four hours at the school. Many students have difficulty getting their hair cut, and having the opportunity to get it cut in a familiar setting with a patient stylist helped many students feel more at ease. The haircuts were paid for by a Delta County YAP grant.
