Walk for Life Sept. 14
ESCANABA — Pregnancy Services of Delta County’s “Walk for Life” will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Ludington Park Pavilion in Escanaba. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.

Fall Fest in Trenary
TRENARY, Mich. — St. Rita Parish in Trenary will hold its annual Fall Festival on the parish grounds Sunday, Sept. 8. A harvest dinner will be served from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the parish hall. Dinner tickets will be available for purchase. Children under age five are admitted free. Take-out dinners will be available.
Special games for young and old alike will be featured on the grounds, including bingo. There will be a silver dollar game, craft and baked goods booths, a refreshment stand and music by Mary Lynn and Doug. The raffle drawing will be held at 4 p.m.
All are welcome. Please note, Sunday Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 8.
St. Thomas breakfast
ESCANABA — All are invited to breakfast at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1820 9th Avenue North, Escanaba on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Parish Hall. There is a cost for the breakfast, but children five and under eat free.
Delta Coin Club to meet
GLADSTONE — The next meeting of the Delta Coin Club will be Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 6 p.m. The club meets every second Tuesday at 817 Delta Ave. in Gladstone. New members or anyone interested in coins are always welcome. There will be an auction of coins, planning for the coin show, and other topics brought up.

Dance in Rock Sept. 8
ROCK — A dance will be held at the Rock Community/Senior Center, located at 3892 W. Mapleridge Rd, on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 1 to 5 p.m. Live music will be provided by Country Express. There is a cost for the dance, and a free will donation lunch will be available. For more information, call Alice at 356-6588. All proceeds benefit the Senior Corporation.

ESCANABA — The Bay College Health and Wellness Fair, sponsored by the Human Services Club, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bay College in the Besse Center/HUB.
Right to Life to meet
ESCANABA — Right to Life of Delta County will meet Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m., in room 261 of the Joseph Heirman University Center at Bay College. Plans will be made for upcoming events including the Respect Life Poster Contest in October for grades first through eighth.

Muskrat demo at U.P. Trappers meeting
HERMANSVILLE — District Three of the U.P. Trappers Association will be holding its regular meeting Thursday, Sept. 12 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Central Time (7:30 p.m. Eastern) at the Anderson Sportsman’s Club in Hermansville. Trappers will be picking up the trash along three miles of highway before the meeting, so the exact start time of the meeting can’t be predicted.
Anyone interested in trapping is welcome to attend.
Bob Steinmetz will be doing a muskrat trapping demo based on his 48 years of trapping experience and will be gearing the presentation toward youngsters and other beginning trappers. Steinmetz loves to pass along the many things he has learned over the years and especially likes instructing youngsters who want to learn.
