Millicent A. Weber

CARBONDALE, Ill. — On May 11, Millicent A. Weber of Manistique graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Ill. with a Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology, specializing in industrial organizational psychology.

Weber was one of 2,464 graduates receiving degrees during spring commencement held in three separate ceremonies in the SIU Arena. Degrees were awarded in the university’s colleges of agriculture, liberal arts, medicine, science, business, education, engineering, and communications.

Weber is a member of the Applied Research Consultants Group, a student-lead group at SIU that assists businesses and various units of government in human resources fields. She plans to continue her studies at SIU toward a doctoral degree while being employed as a librarian at the Morris Library on the SIU campus. She is the daughter of Jim and Barb Weber of Manistique.
