Rapid River Memorial Day Queen named

RAPID RIVER — The Rapid River Memorial Day Queen Contest was a hit again this year with local businesses sponsoring local girls to win the title. In the end, Emily Thibault was named the 2019 Memorial Day Queen, Audrey Naeyaert was named runner-up, and Miss Congeniality was Cassidy Berg, who was selected by the other queen candidates.
Also during the festivities, Bobbie Ryan was named grand marshal of the 2019 Rapid River Memorial Day parade.
