Brian Burke

ESCANABA — Each year, Bay College selects an outstanding graduate from each of the six divisions at the college. The graduate is selected by their instructors for their academic excellence, leadership and community service.

Brian Burke was selected as the 2019 Outstanding Graduate for the Allied Health Division, with the award sponsored by OSF HealthCare via the Bay College Foundation.

In May, Burke received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Bay College. Brian’s instructors commended him on his solid academic performance, leadership skills, positive attitude and growth mindset.

Brian recently passed the NLCEX, the RN licensure examination. He will begin his nursing career as a neuro-surgical nurse, with plans on furthering his education to become a nurse practitioner or nurse educator.
