Powell graduates from University of Michigan
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — On Saturday, May 4, Quinn Powell of Gladstone graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan with high honors. She is the daughter of Jim and Patti Powell of Gladstone.
Powell graduated as a seven-time Angell Scholar, never receiving a grade lower than an “A” for her entire undergraduate studies. She received Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi distinction and was on the dean’s list for every semester.
Powell will spend the summer working at North Star Reach Camp in Michigan, which offers life-changing camp experiences for children with serious health challenges and their families. She will take a gap year and then attend medical school. She hopes to give back to the Upper Michigan community.
