Rebecca Piron

ESCANABA — Rebecca Piron of Escanaba recently graduated from Ferris State University.

She attended Lansing Community College for her first two years of college and finished her athletic and academic career at Ferris State. Rebecca was a student-athlete and received her bachelors in biology while graduating with magna cum laude academic honors.

Along with graduation honors, Rebecca was on the dean’s list all eight semesters of college. She also excelled on the softball diamond, coached Special Olympics, and was in numerous clubs through the school. Rebecca plans on furthering her education by getting her master’s to become a physician’s assistant.

She is the daughter of Mark and Bonnie Piron.
