ESCANABA — On Thursday, May 2 the Escanaba Elks Auxiliary held their 2018-2019 Annual Meeting where they made donations to five local charities along with a donation to the Elks Lodge.

The Auxiliary had a successful year and was able to donate a total of $10,000 thanks to their Corks and Kegs fundraiser in February, Christmas bake sale in December and the miscellaneous collection/raffles at each monthly meeting. Hope at the Inn, Delta County Cancer Alliance, U.P. Honor Flight, Delta County Regional Child Advocacy Center, and the Area 1 Special Olympics each received a donation of $1,500.

The Elks Lodge received a donation of $2,500.
