Local students make Alma dean’s list

ALMA, Mich. — Alma College has released the dean’s list for those students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the 2018 fall term. Students who achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the dean’s list.

Local students named to the dean’s list include:

— Jennifer Brandt, of Escanaba, is studying psychology/educational studies. Brandt is a graduate of Escanaba High School.

— Jenna Steinhoff, of Gladstone, is studying biology. Steinhoff is a graduate of Gladstone High School.

— Claire Tembreull, of Gladstone, is studying general studies. Tembreull is a graduate of Gladstone High School.

Alma College, founded in 1886, is a four-year residential liberal arts college located in the heart of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
