ESCANABA — Escanaba’s P.E.O. Chapter Z was delighted to honor an outstanding young woman pursuing further education while displaying great character, courage, and enthusiasm as a recent Escanaba High School graduate. A member-generated $500 scholarship was gifted to Cassandra Krenek, who was celebrated at a gathering on May 17.

P.E.O. is an international philanthropic organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships, grants, and loans; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. It was Chapter Z’s great pleasure to recognize the individualized athletic, academic, and vocational track for success Cassie is on and to encourage her with this heartfelt monetary gift.
