Elks Auxiliary Member of the Year awarded to Pardee

ESCANABA — Jo Pardee has been named the Elks Auxiliary Member of the Year. She has been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary since 1989. She served on and chaired many committees during that time, and has also held various offices including board member, vice president and president.

She and her husband Doug owned and operated Rose Park Press for over 30 years. They had been married for 52 years when Doug passed away. They have four sons, Lance (Judy), Larry (Kris), Lindsay (Trudy) and Jim (Kim), and eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren with two more on the way.

She attends Grace Church and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, sightseeing, taking her dog Maggie for walks and bowling, among other things.
