NC students tour Marquette

Courtey photos The art history class from North Central enjoyed a beautiful winter day touring some Marquette locations on March 2. The first stop on their trip was the outdoor sculpture park Lakenenland. Students were required to complete a photography assignment throughout the day. Lakenenland was full of one-on-a-kind sculptures, a bonfire, hot chocolate, and even a canoe ride behind a snowmobile. After lunch, they toured the art building on Northern Michigan University’s campus, including the Devos Art Museum, and ended the day by walking around the lower harbor/ore dock area to complete their photo assignment.
