MT. PLEASANT, Mich. — Jordan Lester, of Garden, starred in “Pericles” at Central Michigan University (CMU).

The play follows Pericles, a banished prince of Tyre, as he travels to find his new place in the world.

This Shakespearean play captures the essence of human perseverance to achieve and thrive. Performances took place Feb. 8 through 12 at CMU’s Bush Theatre.

The son of David and Brenda Lester of Garden, he is pursuing a bachelor’s of fine arts degree in theatre and communication at CMU.
