Bay College announces graduates
ESCANABA – Bay de Noc Community College announces the names of students who completed all of the requirements for an associate degree or certificate during the winter semester.
Those receiving associate in arts degrees are from Bark River, Laura Germain, Tyler Roland, and Mason Wallace; from Cooks, Alicia Raredon; from Escanaba, Olivia Boardman, Matthew Butts, Baileigh Dunlap, David Germain, Brianne Ketcham, Kellie Linderoth, Meredith Marlett, Todd Rose, Ellie Tatrow, and Hannah Trottier. Gladstone residents named include Joshua Barron, Hattie Bourdeau, Elle Lancour, Caitlin Lung, and Emily Tardiff. Also on the list are from Hermansville, David Vaver; from Rapid River, Aaron Radlicki; from Stephenson, Devin Kau; from Trenary, Michael Hutchens; and from Wilson, Raeanna Tardiff.
Earning degrees in criminal justice are Bethany Lemerand, Escanaba; Dillon Steinbrecher, Felch; Hayley Cripps and Brayden Whitman, Gladstone; and Evan Winkelbauer, Rock.
Business administration degrees were given to Katie King, Bark River; Ronald Boudreau, Bailey Dalgord and Kevin Gendron, Escanaba; Kathleen Beaty, Kent Dubord and Jalen Stenson, Gladstone; and Steven Lippold, Rapid River.
Associate in science degrees were conferred on Brandon Rochefort, Cooks; Hattie Bourdeau and Rachelle Phillips, Gladstone; and Karleigh Krieg, Perronville.
Escanaba residents Amanda Bink and Alyssa Gafner earned pre-engineering degrees, while Kimberlee O’Donnell received an accounting/computer specialist degree.
Thomas Magnuson, Escanaba, and Morgan Wells, Powers were awarded accounting degrees.
Earning automotive technology degrees are residents of Cornell, Ethan Marenger; Escanaba, Andrew Kaiser; and Manistique, Dakota Whitman.
Business degrees went to Debra Barton, Amber La Casse, Lonia Stevens and Traci Tryan, all of Escanaba; and Vanessa Kanerva, Rock, and Amber La Casse also earned a marketing/small business degree.
John Merki, Escanaba, earned a degree in computer information systems: software/network support.
Michael Kutchmarek, Escanaba, earned one in computer network systems and security, as did Thomas Boudreau, Chaz Harvala and Jeffrey Roman of Gladstone.
Corrections degrees went to Escanaba’s Andrew Miller; Wells’s Jacob Koish; and Wilson’s Katlyn Sagataw.
Early childhood care and education degrees were earned by Barbi Dubord, Bark River; Melony Schenk and Cori Towns, Escanaba; Allison Chenier, Gladstone; Amber Burgin, Rapid River; and LeAnn Salmi, Rock.
Water resource management degrees were earned by Timothy Penegor, Escanaba; Dennis Boyd, Manistique; Rikki Stropich, Rapid River; and Stropich also earned one in environmental management.
Those earning degrees in general studies include Ashley Bonifas, Robert Hasselbom and Rhonda Way from Escanaba; Hattie Bourdeau and Marla Han from Gladstone; and Lynda Gurgall from Hermansville.
Escanaba’s Danielle Breen, Sonia Krupski, and Donelle Robitaille; and Gladstone’s Kathleen Porter were awarded degrees in human services.
Law enforcement degrees went to Daniel Bourdeau, Nicole Good and Brandon Heslip, Escanaba; Jacob Bianga, Gladstone; and Sindia Rangel, Stephenson.
Those earning nursing degrees are Keerstin Hewlett, Bark River; Deanna Derusha, Jenalee Dittrich, Jennifer Fitzpatrick, Karena Germain, Jerrica LaVigne, Dan Nylund, Tyler Root and Samantha Swenor, Escanaba; Tarah Heitman, Heather Peterson and Nicole Williams, Gladstone; Kristy Mattson, Gulliver; Valentina Busbani, Hermansville; and Christian Harris and Megan Opsahl, Rapid River.
Earning degrees in office systems/administrative assistant were Julie Taylor, Escanaba, and Nicole Siedlecki, Gladstone.
Office systems/medical office specialist degrees were conferred on Escanaba’s Wendy Norris, Melissa Schultz and Julie Taylor.
In addition to degrees, Bay college also awarded certificates in a variety of fields. Those went to Lonia Stevens, Escanaba, accounting; Robert Jewell, Bark River; Amber La Casse and Traci Tryan, Escanaba; and Shianne Uskilith, Wilson, entrepreneurial small business; and Kimberlee O’Donnell and Elise Valiquette, Escanaba, computer applications.
Corrections officer certificates were given to Adam Williams, Escanaba; and a mechatronics certificate was earned by Joshua Maulding, Gladstone, Joshua Gorzinski, Powers, and Andrew Vandermissen, Wilson. Caitlyn Fishell, Bark River, and Hattie Bourdeau, Gladstone, received health career certificates.
Emergency medical technician, basic, certificates went to Ross Bergquist and Daniel Russell, Bark River; Sara Broeders, Joel Olson and Heather Troyer, Escanaba; Jayme Boudreau and Emily Sherk, Gladstone; and Cody Koski, Rock.
Earning practical nurse certificates were Bark River’s Stacy Hopkins; Carney’s Morgan Eichhorn and Brandee Groleau; Escanaba’s Kayla Harris, Emily Manning and Jessica Rama; Gladstone’s Hattie Bourdeau, Erin Genewick, Morgan Mathieson, and Brayden Whitman; Manistique’s Brittany Braeger and Haley MacGregor; Powers’ Rachel Nordstrom; Rapid River’s Laura Channel, Danyelle Keenan and Tiffany Tryan; and Rock’s Jill Thompson.
Nicole Siedlecki of Gladstone received an office assistant certificate.
Welding certificates were awarded to Robert Jewell, Bark River; Nicholas Leisner, Alex Lopez, Jesse Norman and Samuel Taylor, Escanaba; Brandon Weinert, Garden; Joseph Ryan and Samuel Taylor, Gladstone; Tyler Floyd, Justin Hase, Cody Taylor and Jaden Utter, Manistique; Matthew Moore, Patrick Pryal and Doren VanZile, Rapid River; Daniel O’Neal, Rock; and Michael Themel, Wilson.
