Marquette Area Blues Society presents blues legend John Primer

MARQUETTE -- The Marquette Area Blues Society is presenting a great night of world-class blues with award-winning guitarist and singer John Primer & The Real Deal Blues Band at the Ore Dock Brewing Company at 114 West Spring Street in Marquette on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are limited and are only available at Marquette Wallpaper & Paint in Marquette. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night of the show.

Primer is a true Chicago blues legend, having played in the bands of Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon and Magic Slim before launching his own multi-award-winning solo career. He has performed on blues festival stages around the world, and has played the Marquette Area Blues Festival several times.

Blues Society Board member and Event Coordinator Walt Lindala says, “John and the band bring the best of the electric, gritty Chicago blues to stage, and this show will be a great chance to see a real master in action. It is a DO NOT MISS show!”

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music starts at 6:30 with a special set from the exciting duo of Ashlyn Joriann and Canyon Medina. Primer and the band take the stage at 7:30pm.
