Trevor Sebeck

ESCANABA — Meet Trevor Sebeck, the Escanaba City Band’s lively baritone saxophone player who’s been bringing energy to the City Band for around 8 years — or is it 9? He can’t remember.

Sebeck is a big fan of film scores, especially those by John Williams and Hans Zimmer.

When he’s not making music, Sebeck runs Jim’s Dari-Kreme and is a partner at Circle M Country. His favorite part of being in the City Band is the fun and camaraderie. Whether they’re getting each other in trouble — though he NEVER misses a note — or laughing and missing a cue or two, the sax section is known as the rowdy bunch.

Outside of the band, Sebeck enjoys singing, assembling plastic models, attending rodeos and events, and spending time with his family.

The band is grateful for Trevor’s enthusiasm and spirit.
