HARRIS – Fans lucky enough to score a ticket will be able to see the world class comedy of actor and comedian Tim Allen at the Island Resort & Casino later this month. Unfortunately for everyone else, the July 16 show is sold out.

Perhaps best known for playing Tim Taylor on the hit ABC sitcom “Home Improvement” in the ’90s, Allen got his start as a stand up comic. Currently, Allen is staring in another ABC hit, “Last Man Standing” and will reprise his role as Buzz Lightyear in “Toy Story 4,” set for release on 2017.

Allen’s unique and memorable brand of comedy has not gone unnoticed. He is a Golden Globe winner and was honored as the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Male Performer in a Television Series” for an unprecedented eight years in a row.

In 2010, Allen’s desire to get back to his stand-up roots led him to return to the stage. His comeback has been wildly successful and since 2011 he has been performing for sold-out shows at The Venetian in Las Vegas.
