Abigail Fritz and Clayton Johnson

BARK RIVER — Scott and Mary Fritz, of Bark River, and Gary and Sue Johnson, of Cornell, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Abigail Fritz and Clayton Johnson.

Clayton graduated from Escanaba High School in 2017. He then took courses at Bay de Noc Community College and is currently enrolled in classes at UW-Green Bay to complete his bachelors degree in business management. He is currently working full time in a management training program for American Food Groups in Green Bay, Wis.

The bride-to-be also graduated from Escanaba High School in 2017. She received her bachelor degree in rehab science from Concordia University in Mequon in the spring of 2020. She is currently completing her final semester of grad school through Concordia and will graduate with her masters degree in occupational therapy this December.

Abigail and Clayton are high school sweethearts, beginning their courtship in the eighth grade. The couple will wed Sept. 11, 2021, at St. Anne’s Parish and plan on residing in Suamico, Wis.
