Deanna Di Ponio and Michael Coyne

GRAND RAPID, Mich. — Dennis and Christine Di Ponio announce the engagement of their daughter Deanna to Michael Coyne, son of Jane and Scott Smith of Gladstone and the late Doug Coyne.

Deanna graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2012 with a degree in psychology and a master’s in school counseling in 2016. She is currently employed with Grand Rapids Public Schools as a school counselor.

The groom-to-be, Michael, also graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s in biomedical sciences and applied statistics and is employed at Gordon Food Service as a supply chain analyst.

A June 22, 2019 wedding celebration will take place in Detroit, Mich. with a reception being held at Laurel Manor in Livona, Mich.
