Christopher Sedenquist and Katelyn Liubakka

MARQUETTE – Ray and Cheri Liubakka of Marquette, along with Michael and Sue Sedenquist of Gladstone, announce the engagement of their children, Katelyn Rae Liubakka of Marquette and Christopher Thomas Sedenquist of Gladstone.

The bride-to-be is a 2012 graduate of Marquette Senior High School and a 2018 graduate of Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. Katie is employed by Houghton High School as a 9th grade social studies teacher.

The future groom is a 2014 graduate of Gladstone High School and will graduate in May 2019 from Michigan Technological University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Following graduation, Chris will be joining Bemis Company as a research and development engineer.

A June 22 wedding is planned.
