Lauren Lee Marshall and Nicole Jean Bruce

MARQUETTE — Jamie and Tracy Bruce of Escanaba, announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Jean Bruce, to Lauren Lee Marshall, daughter of Wayne and Vickie Marshall of Kipling.

Nicole is a 2010 graduate of Escanaba High School. In 2015, Nicole received her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Northern Michigan University. She is currently working as an account administrator at a local insurance agency in Marquette.

Lauren is a 2007 graduate of Rapid River High School. Lauren attended school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for secondary math and is now a teacher at Mid-Peninsula School in Rock.

The couple resides in Marquette and are planning a June wedding.
