Alex Ruatti and Tekla Bellefeuil

ESCANABA — Tekla Bellefeuil and Alex Ruatti, both of Escanaba, announce their engagement.

Tekla is the daughter of Barry and Rosemary Bellefeuil of Bark River and Alex is the son of Gary Ruatti and Brenda Caldwell-Ruatti, both from Escanaba. Tekla graduated from Bark River Harris High School in 2012 and Alex graduated from Escanaba High School in 2015.

Tekla is employed as a waitress at her family’s diner (Rosy’s) in Escanaba, and Alex is employed as an ironworker with Ironworkers Local 8.

With their parents, the couple is planning a Sept. 7, 2019 wedding in Bark River.
