YPSILANTI, Mich. — Joye Bengston and Eric Clute announce their engagement.

Joye is the daughter of Keith and Debbie Bengston of Gladstone, and Eric is the son of Paul and Karen Clute of Loudon, Tenn. Joye is a Gladstone High School graduate, as well as graduate of Kaplan University with degrees in criminal justice and forensic psychology. Eric is a graduate of Brighton High School, as well from Wastenaw County College with a degree in criminal justice, and from Specs Howard with a degree in television and video.

The couple is currently residing in Ypsilanti, Mich.

The couple is planning a April 8, 2018 wedding in the Smokey Mountains near Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
