Brooke Mortl and Tyler Myrick

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Brooke Mortl of Gladstone and Tyler Myrick of Escanaba are pleased to announce their engagement.

Brooke is the daughter of Richard Mortl, Jr. of Iron Mountain and Peggy Mortl of Gladstone. She is a 2012 graduate of Escanaba High School, and a 2015 graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Brooke currently resides in Los Angeles, Calif. pursuing a career in dental hygiene.

Tyler is the son of Todd and Francie Myrick of Escanaba. He is a 2012 graduate of Escanaba High School, and a 2015 graduate of University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a bachelor’s degree in theatre drama. Tyler is currently working at Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles, Calif. as a production assistant.

A ceremony will take place July 1 at St. Anne Parish in Escanaba.
