Stephanie Tam-Anh Chu and Michael Rudden

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Quoc-Anh and Thanh-Tam Chu of Alexandria, Va., along with Rick and Patricia Rudden of Escanaba, are proud to announce the engagement of their children, Stephanie Tam-Anh Chu and Michael Rudden.

Stephanie is a 2003 graduate of Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, a 2001 graduate of George Mason University with an undergraduate degree in theatre, and is currently in progress of completing her masters degree from Johns Hopkins University in marketing. She currently works at Tech-Marine Business, Inc., as a business analyst.

Michael is a 2003 graduate of Escanaba High School, a 2005 graduate of Bay de Noc Community College, a 2009 graduate of Northern Michigan University with an undergraduate degree in secondary mathematics education, and a 2013 graduate of George Mason University with a masters degree in curriculum and instruction. He is currently employed as a high school mathematics teacher by Fairfax County Public Schools.

A ceremony is planned for Aug. 5 at the Hilton Hotel in Old Town Alexandria, Va.
