Giorgia Sofia Colasanto

CHICAGO – Mary (LeGault) and Anthony (“Tony”) Colasanto, of Chicago, welcomed a daughter, Giorgia (“GiGi”) Sofia Colasanto, at 6:01 p.m. on June 4, 2026, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The newborn weighed 6 pounds and was 19 inches long.

GiGi is Mary and Tony’s first child. Grandparents are Tim and Nancy LeGault of Gladstone, Michigan; and Alessandro (“Alex”) and Pasqua Colasanto of Rochester, New York. Great grandparents are the late Tony and Hazel Gillis; the late Art and Lorraine LeGault; the late Natalino and Angelina Porretta; and the late Antonio and Graciella Colasanto. Gigi shares a birthday with her two-year-old cousin, Alice Cotton, who is the daughter of Mary’s twin sister, Cathrine (LeGault) Cotton.
