MINOR — Gladstone residents Ilsa (Matthes) and Fred Minor welcomed a son, Pierce Frederick Minor, born at OSF St. Francis Hospital on Nov. 26 at 6:14 p.m.

Pierce weighed 9 pounds, 1.6 ounces and was 19.5 inches long at birth. He is the couple’s first child.

Pierce’s grandparents are Ann and Ken LaBumbard, of Gladstone; Sally and Fred Minor, Sr., of Cooks; and Lloyd and the late Kristine Matthes.

His great-grandparents are Mary Burns and the late John Burns, of Manistique; the late Sonny and Millie Minor, of Cooks; the late Lois and Robert Hanson, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; and the late Georgia and Raymond Matthes, of Hills, Iowa.
