Yolande and Roy Sebeck

ESCANABA — Yolande M. (Guenette) Roy D. Sebeck Jr. celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 16.

The couple married on June 16, 1973, at Sacred Heart Church, in Schaffer, Mich.

Attendants at the wedding were Maid of Honor Sandy Guenette, sister of the bride; Bestman Clarence Sebeck, brother of the groom; Bridesmaid Judy Sebeck Woodaz, sister of the bride; and Bridesmaid Patty Sebeck Hynes, sister of the groom. The ushers were Rod Deiter, cousin of groom, and Bryan Burak, friend of the groom.

An anniversary dinner will be attended with family.

An anniversary church service mass will took place at St. Anthony of Padua Church on June 18, with Fr. Rock Courier presiding.

Roy is a retired rehab tech at Christina Park Healthcare Center, where he worked for 46 years. He retired in 2020.

Yolande worked at K-Mart from for 41 years.

Roy is a member of St. Anthony Church, where he serves as money counter, Eucharistic Minister, and sings in the choir. He is an Indian Education Schools Cultural Advisor.

Yolande is a member of St. Anthony Church and Ladies Guild, performs in the bell choir and choir and is an Indian Education Schools Cultural Advisor Assistant.

They both enjoy gardening.

The couple has two children, Troy of Escanaba and Trevor of Gladstone, along with two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
