SMITH — An infant girl, Nora Jane, was born to Matt and Katie (DeMay) Smith on July 17, at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Nora arrived at 3:24 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 9.2 ounces and was 19 inches in length at birth.

The baby joins two siblings in the family.

Gail and Dutch McEachern of Gladstone, and Craig and Denise Smith of Cornell are Nora’s grandparents.

The baby’s great-grandparents are Ed Jansen of Iron Mountain, Judy (Gary) Randall of Escanaba, Herb and Jane Smith of Iron Mountain, and Pete and Willa DeMay of Gladstone.
