David Jay ‘Doc’ Johnson

ESCANABA — David Jay “Doc” Johnson, 64, of Escanaba, passed away the morning of June 5, 2025 at OSF St. Francis Hospital. Listed among survivors are his wife, Barbara and children, Jessica (Richard) Van de Gryp, Eric (Ashley) Johnson, and Kyle (Angela) Johnson. A celebration of Dave’s life will take place at Blessed Hope Baptist Church on Sunday, July 6 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Lewis Hague officiating. A luncheon will follow. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.

Gary Kidd, Sr.

ESCANABA, Mich. — Gary Kidd, Sr., age 72, of Escanaba, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his home. His loving wife Linda (Demeuse) Kidd is listed among surviving family. A full obituary will be forthcoming. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 17, from 11a.m. to noon at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Escanaba. Funeral services will follow at noon with Rev.
