EHS’s Gauthier signs with Detroit Mercy

Mike Mattson | Daily Press Escanaba’s Taylor Gauthier has signed a letter of intent to play softball at Division I University of Detroit Mercy. Gauthier was a standout shortstop who helped Esky win the recent Division II state championship. “I’m very excited,” she said. “I went and visited the campus and it was really nice. They said if I can hit I will play.” The Titans finished 14-30 overall and 8-13 in the Horizon League this past season.
