Many pitch in to beautify Rapid River School

3 min read

This week's bouquets go to:

From the Rapid River Education Association:

The Rapid River Education Association would like to thank George and Lisa Kanyuh, community members, and the football team for the beautiful flowers in the planters surrounding the school. We greatly appreciate the time you all spent to make our school a better place for students.

The Rapid River Education Association would also like to thank Becky Kuehl and her boys for their hard work planting and maintaining our flower garden by the highway. It looks beautiful.

From Choose Life outreach booth organizers:

Special thanks to each and every person who volunteered their time or donated funds to help make the "Choose Life" outreach booth at the U.P. State Fair very successful again this year. May God bless you all for your efforts to help the pro-life cause.

From Carik Irving of Escanaba:

Roger and Sara Casey went far and beyond the call of duty on Labor Day. I'm so grateful for their help, getting my good friend into their truck after a bad fall on her bicycle. They took the two of us and our bikes to the emergency room for some much needed care and even brought our bikes back to our house for us. It was so nice meeting these two strangers and neighbors of our community. Thanks goes out to the crew at OSF as well, first class all the way.

Special thanks go out to Pastor Nathan Langager and his wife Karen for their years of support to the local pro-life cause while serving as the pastor of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Gladstone. May god Bless him and his family as he begins retirement on Oct. 1.
