Anglers leave the Escanaba Harbor in pursuit of prize winning walleye on Thursday morning. The Cabela’s Master Walleye Circuit is in town for the 2018 World Walleye Championship. Two-person teams, on 32 boats, started the tournament Oct. 4. Qualified walleye anglers are fishing both Big and Little Bay de Noc. The three day tournament is hosted by the Escanaba Harbor where the boats launch at 8 a.m. and return for weigh-in at 4 p.m.
