ESCANABA -- Bay College Training and Development will be offering Manager and Supervisor Training - Critical Leadership Skills for Success on Tuesday, March 19 - Thursday, March 21 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the M-TEC building in Escanaba. This three-day workshop will discuss the important supervisory and managerial topic of leadership and explain how one can become a more effective leader. Training will cover: leadership vs. manager, communication skills, team management, motivating others, delegating and "giving orders", handling conflict, employee discipline, performance evaluations and time management.
The instructor for the training will be Kurt Peterson, founder and principal at Total Enterprise Consulting and Coaching, who has 23 years of industry experience, as well as 17 years as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt.
