ESCANABA -- UPCAP's Michigan Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) is seeking volunteers.
The program works with people to help them understand their Medicare benefits, bills, and rights. MMAP services are free, confidential, and available to all Michigan Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers. Volunteers play a critical role in providing MMAP services and helping seniors and those with disabilities. Volunteers counsel people about Medicare, give presentations about MMAP, assist with administrative tasks, work on special projects, and more. No matter what your interests or abilities, MMAP has an opportunity for you.
