NAMI education meeting Nov. 26

MARQUETTE -- The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Alger/Marquette offers free, confidential peer support groups and educational meetings for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness.

An educational meeting will be held Monday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Baraga Place Conference Room, 129 West Baraga Ave., Marquette. Maureen Jensen RN, BSN, CCM, MPA is owner/managing member of Jensen Case Management, LLC, established in 2014 to provide customized case/care management services for clients in the areas of disability management, chronic disease care management, consultations, and Aging Life Care™ for older adults and persons with disabilities. Aging Life Care™ professionals can also fill a niche for those seniors "elder orphans", living far from family and wishing to maintain the highest level of independence. It may also benefit those seniors and their families who need assistance with navigating and accessing existing community services. Aging Life Care™ professionals offer education, support and advocacy.
