ESCANABA -- This summer, are you looking for a way to take your smart phone photography to a new level? If so, this photo adventure class is for you. iPhoneographer Karen West will share a variety of shooting and editing apps and general photography tips in a fun, hands-on workshop. This two and a half hour workshop will cover basic shooting, editing and creative apps. These apps are easy to learn and can have a dramatic effect on your images. Download the following free apps (available on both Android and iPhone) before the start of the workshop: Snapseed, Prisma and Camera +. This class is open to iPhone and Android smart phone users.
Dr. West is a photographer by heart and passion and a philosophy teacher by mind and trade. Both have come together in her latest photographic adventures with the iPhone. Making the transition from 15 years as fine art photographer with the DSLR camera to the tiny iPhone and its limitless possibilities of creativity has opened Karen's eye to the everyday world around her in new and amazing ways.
