Pascoe gets business student award from LSSU

SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. -- Lake Superior State University student Diane Pascoe, of Escanaba, received the LSSU Lukenda School of Business Outstanding Transfer Student Award from LSSU Escanaba Regional Center professor Susan Beckon during a recognition ceremony in Sault Ste. Marie on April 28.
The annual honor is given to a graduating senior who transferred into LSSU’s business program. It is based upon a professor poll and best overall grade point average. Pascoe completes her business administration degree with a minor in marketing through LSSU’s regional center at Bay College in Escanaba.
Also recognized at the dinner, Pascoe was inducted into the international business honor society Delta Mu Delta. Delta Mu Delta has more than 200 chapters worldwide and is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), from which LSSU's business program earns accreditation. To be nominated for induction, a student must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.0 GPA scale and be in the top twenty percent of their class.
