The Kiwanis Club provides 40 or more hours of volunteer time per week ordering food, delivering it to the Gladstone High School, sorting it, packing 152 food bags, and delivering the 20 tubs of weekend food to the four Gladstone Schools and the Rapid River School each week throughout the school year. “The Gladstone KEY (Kiwanis Educating Youth) Club members are a big help with weekly food packing,” said Kirschner, who is the coordinator of the Gladstone-Rapid River food distribution.
