ESCANABA -- The Escanaba health clinic schedule for Public Health Delta Menominee Counties for the week of Sept. 18-22 includes:

Monday -- WIC

Tuesday -- Late Night Family Planning; Late Night Immunizations

Wednesday -- Late Night WIC; Family Planning Clinic

Thursday -- BCCCNP; WISEWOMEN

Friday -- WIC; Family Planning

All clients are seen by appointment only. Evening and Saturday appointments are available for some clinics. Anonymous HIV/AIDS testing and counseling is also available. In Delta County, call 786-4111 about any of these services, and in Menominee County, call (906)863-4451.

Eagles plan breakfast

ESCANABA -- The Escanaba Eagles 1088 will be serving breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Eagles Hall, 608 Ludington St.

Menu items will include scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, toast, hash browns, pancakes, French toast, coffee, milk, orange juice, and more.

Public is welcome. There is a fee for the meal.

Trenary Sunday

TRENARY -- A dance will be held at the Trenary Community Building on Sunday, Sept. 17, from 1 to 5 p.m. Music will be provided by Country Wheels. Everyone is welcome. There is a cost to attend, along with a lunch donation.

Rededication ceremony

at MUMC on Sunday

GLADSTONE -- Memorial United Methodist Church (MUMC) will be celebrating a rededication ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 17. The day will start with a special church service at 10:30 a.m., with guest minister Rev. Doug Mercer officiating. At noon, MUMC will hold its mortgage burning celebration. The pubic is welcome to attend.

The church is located at 1920 Lake Shore Drive in Gladstone, and is handicap accessible. The church was built in 1994.

Fall festival to be held

in Hermansville

HERMANSVILLE -- A fall festival will be held at the IXL Historical Museum, W5551 River Street, Hermansville, on Sunday, Sept. 17, from noon to 4 p.m. Crafters, specialty foods, gardeners' market, and face painting will be available. The event will be cancelled for inclement weather.

Delta Alano Club

celebrates anniversary

GLADSTONE -- The 34th anniversary celebration of the Delta Alano Club will be Sunday, Sept. 17. The days activities began at 3:34 p.m. with the annual business meeting. At 4:30 p.m., Louie L. will be the guest speaker, with a potluck supper to follow the talk.

Friends of Dr. Bob and Bell W. are encouraged to attend.

Legion Post 71

GLADSTONE -- American Legion Post 71 welcomes the public to an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet from 9 a.m. to noon the third Sunday of each month. The breakfast will include ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, cheesy hashbrowns, fried potatoes, hash, biscuits and gravy, toast, coffee, orange juice, omelets to order, pancakes, French toast, and sweets. There is a fee to attend.
