ESCANABA — Chloe Dubord signed a letter of intent Friday to continue her softball career at Mid Michigan College where she’ll study to go into law enforcement or psychology.

“I went down there this summer and I loved it,” the Escanaba senior said. “It kind of felt like home. I wanted to play past high school and I’m blessed that I get to do that. I’m excited for this new chapter. One of my highlights was hitting two home runs in a district tournament game at home.”

Dubord received Division 2 all-district and all-regional first-team honors and was an All-Great Northern Conference selection during her prep career.

She helped the Eskymos get to the state semifinals last spring where they dropped a 2-0 decision to Richmond.
